The mountains of north Wales are frequently precipitous. In winter they are subject to snow storms that frequently cut off towns and villages. I have tried to capture the mood of the time here. Watercolour with wax crayons, watercolour pencils and salt. 9" by 12". I hope you enjoy it.

Very good painting, pleasant to look at. Clever with the addition of salt. Will you hang it on a wall in your home ?
I have so many, RosePetal, that I would soon run out of wall space. And I have to leave room for my father's works (of which one is attached). As you can see, my father's style is quite different to and much more accurate than mine.
It is sad to say, but much of my early work made excellent firelighters. Now I am beginning to wonder if I might dare try floating a couple on Etsy to see what the purchasing art world might make of them.
How lovely! The color choices are very nice together and I’ve never been to the mountains of Wales but looking at this I can get the sense of exactly what it would feel like with snow
Stunning brent.i love the effects you created by using different media🐰
Another winner Brent! Looks very much like the view from my window this morning - above Aberystwyth. Why not try selling your work, you have nothing to lose.xx
A picture that is easy on the eye. Just lovely Brent.
Another beaut Brent! I would certainly buy your pictures Whilst your father's picture is also wonderful, I much prefer your style. How are your pains? xx
I love it Brent_Wilson. An absolute triumph of a piece!👍😊
