They are beautiful. They look much better larger. You capture the reflections in the water so well.I particularly like the first oneπ
Good morning Barry hope you had good sleep you was up very early fantastic photos really love them nice lights and super reflections very well captured,πmy walk was late in day yesterday and it was good once I got out my street as too many people coming out park as I was walking down it, it was coming in dark and street lights came on, my parks not good for photos at moment other than reflections in puddles but I'm afraid my reflection may come on so dernt take photo lol πI went on the London eye on a national Holliday trip and we had site seeing cruise with my niece which was very interesting many years ago and again with my mam, I'm not a busy city person by day but love it lit up by night so thanks for sharing the photos and glad your enjoying photography but please be careful someone doesn't come up by surprise like a jogger I nearly ended up in the lake whilst taking photos slipping on mud nearly falling to get out way fast from jogger lol πhope you have a good day xx
That's a lovely photo of the reflections of the trees.I love London and used to go quite a lot as it's only about 40 mins away on the train.Hopefully it won't be too long before I can go again. Have a good dayx
Morning did you sleep ok I wish I hadn't come back on to check mail last night I'll have to just start watching TV then straight to sleep, I ended up on for while good laugh tho Yul have to check my post a bunny was mentioned in it lol what you doing today I'm watching Andrew Marr now I like him, I did a post a while ago on reflections in puddles it's surprising what you see in a puddle just a shock when it you lol π xx
I gave up watching any political programmes ages ago.Yes I slept very well last night unlike most nights when there's too much going on in my head π
My phone went off its on charge near my luma light it's low and gives me shoulder ache I'll have to sort a extenshion lead so more cables allover we have drastic shortage of plug sockets upstairs the one for TV is hid under a big rug pixies made right mess on it last night he was going mad for biscuits so I refilled his cat nip toys and there's car nip allover and he attacked one of this morning and it's wet through he's asleep now thank god π€―is Dylan up yet xx
Yep he is. Still in his hutch but getting wound up cos he wants to be out.
Oh bless I hate it when I have to lock pixie in kitchen but sometimes he's so noisy and won't settle since he discovered the loft hatch and tuna up there lol it's just a flimbsey thing mam n step dad made and it let's cold in I need to contact my builder a out doing my loft and take it off sale until spring if I go with the same agent it's free but need to wait 3 month's to do with Rightmove not sure if it's nationwide but that's our main advertiser here, I'm unsure about everything maby I'm best just moving back home making it nicer and look different then I'll feel like I'm in a different house, I'm worried about floods we were on alert on Friday too many drains leading off Humber. Need to move to higher ground but where, I'd like to live abroad I'm fed up of all the cold and rain my niece n nephews dad is in Tenerife been there since before Xmas his brother lives out there he was on about moving over there at one point xx
Many years ago, when I was much younger, I would have liked to live in Italy
I think my favourite place I went to was menorca lovely little inlet beaches we had Holliday's for 7 years me and mam after step dad died and some real nice cruises that was amazing been on a boat sat eating lunch with the sea and amazing sunsets and rises god one trip was rough going over the bay of bisco or whatever it's called the cabin had a flood they sent us a dryer to dry the carpet and a bottle of champagne lol I remember been a bit drunk and I was falling all over as the boat was swaying I had to keep grabbing onto things, it's eating like 24 7 on a cruise you say I'm not eating much next meal and it's all laid out and you can't resist trying it and big plate full and feeling ill lol I love my food pixie takes after me so it's not his fault he's so greedy lol ππΈ
Dylan takes after me- mad bunny lol
I know nibbling on too many big carrots and dreaming about things he can't have like green cougettes lol ππI just put post on about joggers my hears pounding I'm sick of them I bet I get some derogotive comments I'll just ignore them just getting a vegetarian sadage lol bit like you said there a bit small πpixies sat here patient but if I don't move he will give me that look then a lick then nip xx
Lol I love the way he looks and looks as if he's being friendly then nipsπ€£
He is a lovely cat and sometimes he's so patient but God last night he jumped on my knee saw me on here and nipped my arm his teeth only cought a thick jumper I calmed him.down and put the phone down straight away mam said I can't believe what I'm seeing she said he's like a mysogynist boyfriend lol then he decided he wanted the chair he went to the side of me I was balancing on then when I went upstairs to watch TV in bed mam said take him with you I got my dressing gown round him so he wouldn't nip as he wasn't happy she got the coushion to throw at him I said don't agrivate him talk to him nice I said you wouldn't like it if I dragged you out of bed so I see it from his side, and his good points outway his temper lol and it's just his breed he looking out window now bless him xx
Pathetic looking sausage really πbetter than nothing π
You know I used to love tinned tomatoes with bacon. Yum
Them Italian ones oh I shodnt say Italy, but there really nice we got stocked up started putting few extra tins in each time we went out tomatoes are so good for you there one of my favourite foods, them Linda macartnys sasages taiste like cheap sasages, I like the Quorn vegetarian bacon I can't wait to go shopping in a supermarket don't you eat bacon now I could never eat pig or lamb π₯πcourgettes will never seem the same now I'll probably burst out laughing next time I'm in supermarket I told Marnie I said I'm still in shock she said least it wasn't a aubergine lol π
I can't have too many tomatoes as they affect my RA,Dad used to grow his own and I used to buy him packets of seeds when I was in italy that you can't get over here.
I have grown tomatoes but bought a small plant my mam.and her brother grow from.seed I used to grow green beans not baked thank god π·they don't agree with me so don't have often I just seen you tried to my other post I'm having different chats on posts today lol just been chatting with Jerry on his good job as not much else to do can't go out yet βΉοΈπ
I can't grow em cos Dyl would eat the plants and they're poisonous for rabbits
Lilly's are poisonous to cats I might grow a cat nip plant what else does Dylan eat I'm taking my nuts for squirells tomorto I'm only eating walnuts from now on there softer others set my neuralgia off too much and can't digest them is your tum ok now,my chipped front tooths worst I'll go to dentist when get vaccine I'll have a good clean by the hygenist too are you walking today
No.Im staying in . I've been going to the dentist and hygienist since the first lockdown ended and it was fine. I think it's more risky for them tbh. Dyl likes broccoli kale herbs and my geraniums in the gardenπMy tums a bit up n down but since I cut out sugar and saturated fats it's been much better.
Yes hard fat is so bad and for your heart try cold pressed rapseed oil for frying and I told you that's what we use for baking I'll show you pixie pie lol
Just counted 4o people from my view on the path left and right and they don't move out the way
Tony's just read online people are driving miles to a small local recreation ground to walk their dogs and giving locals abuse when to get say anything.
I'm.judt charging phone it's nearly dead yeu they come here in cars xx
A joggers just ran by a out 4o people god I sound like Victor meldrew lol moaning about joggers π
My mam went on a no meat diet for her joint pain and yeu I remember about tomatoes sometimes my knee and thumbs are worst than others but it's more use with me and cold weather but I do eat fair amount of tomatoes not constantly my hand will probably hurt later from sat holding the phone lol and my necks stiff I'll do some yoga later just on my shoulders and neck it tires me out sitting about felt so much better for my brisk walk yesterday
π hope your day is good too Mandy π
P s lol I just looked again and my favourite is the first one so can tell why it's the first one that's really good photography how youve got the 3D kind of effect by taking the tree and railings and the lights look so delicate almost even tho there bright in the background it looks almost like a oil painting I feel inspired to paint it I will have a go once I get my paints, my did one of London with buildings it was black n orange coloured off a calendar I'll try did it out xx
It's only from my phone, I took some others of the Tate Gallery all lit up but the lights were too bright, I will have see if its possible to turn down the brightness xx
There should be some setting somewhere . Although I wouldn't have a clue what to do ....ππ
No I will have to look it up, the Tate looked beautiful I just couldn't get the affect ππ
That's your homework for you today then . Look forward to seeing some pics of it. Now I'm the virtual teacher ππ
ππ
I'll have too improve on this Miss, let's see if it's better tomorrow
Practice makes perfectπ
π€£π€£ sorry Miss I will try harder π€ tomorrow π
Yes and it will need to be very hardπ
Maybe a quicker exposure would improve things ππ
Mmm not sure about that. A slower one is usually better at night but the results can be a bit shaky π
As long as you get the green glow off lol as too much to takeππ
Discipline Miss its the only way! π
I think in his case a bit of gentle encouragement is probably the best approach.
Not whips again !! π
And here's an evening one I took in Gardaπ
Lovely, and not over exposed π
I try to be careful with exposure π
Breaking news ! :Sheffield United have just been offered a Β£147 million sponsorship deal from a leading dog food company. A club spokesman said having Winalot written across their shirts is just taking the Micky πππ
Just told my brother. He loved itπ€£π
Fun and games in your house todayπ
Spurs aren't playing as well as they could. They have been known to lose the lead before- but somehow I cant quite see it happening this time π
I only use my phone for taking photos my mam used to have a digital camera I can't get the sun glare off mine or moon mas is same type but a better model she can get the glare off I'm going to get a printer and leads to my lap top when I get the vaccine and start printing photos off, sorry I just seen this my phone went dead earlier βΉοΈpeople ask me what sort of camera do I have but it's just a 7opound Alcatel phone it's ten pound a month Asda network is it DJ on here takes great photos he took one of the moon so clear but used special camera when I get into town centre I'll take some of hulls buildings it was hull city of culture few years back has got some lovely buildings and the street I mentioned of the oldern days with dummy people at work and old food it's called street life, and we have a lovely art gallery, there's a section on modern art and I remember you said undecided about the one you saw I think mod art is clever but in the right setting ππ€
All your photos are lovely Bazzak! There's something magical about how a city transforms into such a pretty and tranquil scene after dark. You've captured it beautifully!ππ
Great photos . Done my 1 hour Zumba but didn't get up until 9.45 - it is Sunday . Raining now at 13.40 but must get out as husband wants to watch football on TV later.
πwhat are husbands like ! What time is it on ????π€£
Well could watch all day . Just returned from walk Spurs on now then MCFC . Can't wait for season tickets to be available . Credit card in hand .
Who do you follow? X
I just had to buy the football shirts but husband and 5 boys follow MCFC. My husband used to sell football programmes at the ground as a boy and my son found that Peps daughter went to the same 6th form college as him but didn't broadcast it .
I'm West Ham, us and Man City fans have always got on, there seems to be a mutual respect. Xx
Worst was when we went to Leeds and parked in a side street near the ground . Elderly man stopped as we got out of the car and advised us to rip the back window MCFC sticker from back window and hide our scarves . We smiled / thanked him then he said that if his grandson was in his house he would have 'decked the window ' and stoned the 'lot of us' . I was about 13 then and with my Dad who had been given free tickets from one of his customers.
Leeds was always a bad place and liverpool, though to be honest, years ago my mate and me went to an away game at Liverpool, and we decided, don't ask me why, that we would go in the Kop. I asked a policeman excuse me officer where's the Kop, he said up there but with an accent like yours I wouldn't go there π. We did because we knew we going to lose anyway. There we are in the middle of the Kop and what happens, West Ham score first, me like an idiot went yes!!!! All of a sudden all these heads turned to look at us. I think they were so surprised that nothing happened ππ
We have been in similar mixed pubs especially around Wembley . The Green Man was MCFC pub but others you had to pretend you were just having a drink as a general tourist .
Trust you to do something like thatπ€£π
LOL just reading through this it's a wonder you 2 havnt got banned I think they have give up on us behaving and know we're popular lol ππI was watching David Attenborough programme about monkeys never seen like that before and a man with a wolf in the north pole minus 5o his saliva went to ice I'd love to do something different like that well not north pole but I'm fed up of mundane living I'm just watching the moon lol xx pixie with moon behind click to see full
You seem to like all clubs fansπBlades did well again π
At least they didn't do a clean sheet πxx
Hi maralyn how is your son now xx
He's improving thanks Mandy but the weight that's fallen off him is unbelievable, I went outside to look at him through the window today and he looks pathetic and says he feels like a leper! xx
What's he been eating if you can cook a chicken and boil the carcus make a chicken broth it's really good for building up strength I couldn't eat that or do it for myself but I think it would help xx
I edited it as said car not carcus sorry but there's lot of goodness in the carcus xx
No, Spurs, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and Birmingham I have no time for.π
ππππ
Wow these photos give me New York vibes
What the courgettes ππ
ππ I donβt like zucchini π
No traffic since lockdown π
Plenty here still ππ
We do live on a main road so the tfaffics always quite busy but the thing is the pedestrians all seem to be going up and down in crowds, we are used to that because there's an underground on the corner 2 minutes away but it's closed? xx
We've got that all over town and by the river.
What's wrong with people when they really don't seem to understand what's going on!?
Nope. I had a long chat with my brother today. He despairs of his 19yr old daughter who is just doing as she pleases going out and about with the boyfriend. They're even talking about going to the Lake District for a dayππ
My youngest daughter, she's 31 reckons that we would have all been like your nice and her boyfriend at their age? What do u you reckon because honestly I can't be sureπ€·ββοΈ
Pilk alert! Niece!!
Saw it saw it !!!!!!ππ
That's made you so happy hasn't it πStop pilking on my friendππ
Funny isn't it, months ago I accidentally put pilking on me instead of picking on me and I have had to live with the ribbing ever since πππ
Well it's given us all a good laugh thanks to you. You have your uses I supposeπ
Sarcasm becomes you Maria ππ
No I actually mean it for onceπ. Just enjoy it cos it doesn't happen very often π
Yeah Maria trying to have a serious conversation and the pilker turns up! Just goes to show, he's never far away ππ
Thank goodness. He keeps us entertained π
Yes he does and out of the depths of despair sometimesπ
Or plunges us into the depths...ππ
ππ
Right ladies question, I have a leather coat, and the buttons have got loose Is it worth getting a leather needle and do it myself or just take it to one of the dry cleaners that do repairs.
Answers on a postcard please ππ
You'd have to use a metal needle not a leather one π€£π
Dry cleaners is easier I suppose π
It really depends on how they've been attached in the first place. Is it just thread ? You'd need to buy special thread and needle which you probably can't at the moment. Shame I can't do it for youπ Dry cleaners it is thenπ
Soooo quickππ
This was meant for the metal needle answerπ
Yes I'm pretty sharp π
I still didn't put it in the right place thoughπ±
I'm getting to you !!πππ
Just watched FrTed caravan π€£π€£π€£Really cheers me up ππ°
Thought you watched that last nightπ€π
Was going to but was too tired so I recorded it,π
π the last thing I saw last night was Marilyn I think saying it's on in 10 minutes πππ
We had a date Barry and I got stood upπ’π
Typical ππ°
So quiet π€« xx
hello ππ€£π€£
Hi Hiba you OK? xx
I really miss going up there- only live about a 40 mins train ride out of town
It looks like New York π
I'm lucky Im on the doorstep without actually living there, and we have an excellent train service.
Prob not as quiet now. I dont go up as much as I used to because my RA makes walking difficult sometimes and I don't like crowds. I go as often as I can. Before covid I'd been planning to re visit the art galleries and museums and go to a few matinees at the theatre. Maybe later this yearπ€Meanwhile I'll just have to enjoy Baz' photos π
They are beautiful photos Bazzak, thanks for sharing. xx
