I shall call it "Roots and Shoot". I just put a drop of mucky paint on some paper, then led it down the tilted paper with my brush. The inspiration came from there.

That is really interesting - I bet people can see different things in it, like those Roschach ink-blots.

Have you tried blowing the paint with a straw; It's less predictable, but with similar effects.

I have played with that. I am trying, however, to find a way of doing tree trunks a la Ann Blockley, of all things. Any advice on that.
