Hi all,
Today, a member of the Care Community which I also moderate, made this post which she kindly agreed I could share with you. I used her link to see what this was all about. It was suggested for those who suffer from or look after those with dementia but also promises to be interesting for anyone who wants to be creative and is looking for wellbeing, especially through nature, during this pandemic. It's free to join in and will cost nothing so I'm sharing the post for anyone who might find it interesting: It's a forthcoming virtual event on 6th December.
From TaylorAnne16:
"Hello! I came across an upcoming free virtual event on tools for "creative ageing" on December 6th and thought I'd share!
I've included the link to registration and description below.

Event Description:
How can art and garden design help us achieve a renewed sense of wellbeing? How can solutions for those living with memory loss and dementia extend to all of us? How might we all benefit from the tonic of nature, even when we cannot leave our homes?
Join the Frye Art Museum, the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center, and Microsoft in a gathering focused on the power of present-moment awareness, creativity, and sensory experiences with nature. During this panel discussion and Q&A, we will explore the spiritual, emotional, physical, and neurological effects of nature through practical examples of programs developed for those with memory loss, dementia, and their care partners. We’ll explore how the principles of inclusive design were applied in the development of these programs and provide suggestions for you to leverage nature as an antidote to the perils of everyday life during a pandemic."
