Hi wiserlady, One of the best things about today is this question. I love that you write posts which everyone can engage in and they make us all think a little bit before actually joining in. Thank you! 👍👍👍😊

For me it's another day closer to the end of lockdown, with me possibly returning to work next week, also I'm doing one if my reading groups this afternoon, so I'll see, via Zoom, people to speak to

Hi Don yes it's arful and clearing there things is like throwing there life away again I gave a lot my dad's stuff to charity or sold it he had lot bikes so feel he'd have wanted other people to get pleasure on his bikes, still waiting for complete closure on his house contracts been signed so I feel it's the best we sold his house, and I got a letter addressed to the deceased council tax bill owing nout, it came to my house as I redirected his male and if I hadn't would have gone to his house, what it the point in that and as they know he was in residential home for 2 years anyway that was a shock seeing that letter, hope you get through today ok hugs to you and Sasha from Mandy and pixiebob 🌟xxx

Always a difficult task Don and an unenviable one, but one which sadly has to be tackled. I think that anyone who has had this heartbreaking task makes a determination to try to leave things in as best an order is possible, but no matter how hard we try, there are always many loose ends that someone else is left with. Thinking of you. 🙏

My dad was a horder and saved everything we found his diary's from 43 years ago he had reciepts from then too but after he got mice we talked him into letting us get rid of some things we said there contaminated he had 1o1 pairs of trousers with jackets to suit he was known as the smartest man about town he often bought 2 of everything if in a sale as was a bargain lol and I have sometimes done that but only if it very cheap, I realise things never seem to wear out and I'm done with buying clothes 🤔

Pottery class first thing in the morning 😁😆

Being thankful for the small blessings in life like being able to do a daily walk physically when lots of others can't due to health problems.

How are you coming to terms with the situation with strawberry the dog being ill?

Hi, I took Strawberry to the vet today for chemo, she seems quite well.Have to decide whether to carry on with it.

The main thing for me today was finding out that if and when I have her put to sleep

they will allow me to be there with her when it happens.

Dear wiserlady,

Can I answer this, very simply, please..... as a person who nearly died- twenty three years ago (or there abouts).... it is being ALIVE. Whatever you find 'Helps/ Calms/ Entertains/ Amuses/ Satisfies/ Enhances your life.... you Do have to be Alive! (I'm NOT here going to discuss the possibility, or not, of any 'After Lives' HERE, perhaps elsewhere.)

Can I end by saying, to everyone, Keep Well.
