Me riding Goldie

This lovely horse that Im riding here is more or less the spitting image of my late horse Count Ellwood (aka either Count or Elli)

Goldie has a long tail, mine had a short one Godie has a stripe going down his nose whereas mine had a white blaze down his nose -Goldie is about 13.2 hands high whereas mine was 14.2 hands high

Apart from that theyre more or less similar & both are beautiful (Count sadly died in the 90s)

oh very much so - Im surrounded by nostalgia at that farm - the very first time I rode there I was a tad teary because prior to that the last time I rode on those surrounding lanes was 30 years ago with count so I know the lanes better than anyone there

Plus Im right near where Count was stabled

yes absolutely on all points. - hoping the stables are allowed to open on 2nd december - if not then my riding hobby is over

All horses are beautiful and Goldie is no exception. I think they are quite spiritual creatures, as are dogs and cats. I'm sorry to hear about Count, I've never had a horse but I've had a few dogs and it's heartbreaking when they go. xx

I can understand why you didn't ride for ten years, that's the sort of effect it would have had on me too. xx
