Hi Zest, lovely photos. The flowers are Cosmos Dazzler - my hubby grew them this year in the garden and they are still flowering. Thanks for sharing. x

They are such a cheerful plant, no matter how windy it gets they seem to be able to take it and given that they are quite a tall plant, that's really good. x

They are gorgeous. I have lots of cosmos in my garden. They last such a long time. Keep dead heading and they continue growing.

Dear Zest,
I don't know Gurnsey, but have been to Jersey.... I'm sure that I DID See these Flowers.... or Very Similar. Jersey, which I was on for about ten days, is Beautiful and 'our' Hotel was at the Top of the Hill, not far from St Hellier.
One day we all Walked, or Rolled, down that Hill (some were in Wheelchairs) into 'Town'. After some 'sight seeing', Lunch and a little 'Shopping' someone phoned Steve- the Manager. Bless him he brought the Hotel Mini Bus, down to the Car Park, and Picked Us all up. Apparently, and unknown to most of us, that had been the 'Arrangement' all along.
Next door, to our Hotel- well really Appartment Complex really- was an Art Studio. The girl, who ran it, was a Sort Of ' New Age' Artist- Colourful, Interesting, Vibrant and almost 'Childlike'. Simple Forms, nearly 'Fragile' in apperance... (Although clearly, quite robust, they looked 'Weak/ Liable To Break'.)
Yes I was Impressed, by Jersey, a good Holiday.
