Hi all
We had our eldest granddaughter overnight last night as her sister had her 6 monthly appointment at Bristol Children's hospital. I took the eldest to school this morning and then walked into the city centre and saw a friend for coffee.
When I collected our granddaughter from school we walked through the local park, the colours of the trees were beautiful.
I managed to walk 29,596 steps today.

It's great when grandparents can step in and see to things like this when appointments mean going out of town. You might see that flower turn up in one of my paintings, the photo's are lovely. 😊🌸

You have had a very productive day, the trees, are coming out in Autumn colour and it is always a pretty time of the year. I have severe pain problems at this time of year as the barometer begins to fall so I on some days just have to look out of the window to see all the bright colours. We can watch the Geese flying over to the west coast and I know it is nature that is telling me winter is on its way' I will therefore enjoy the weeks of Autumn

Yes thank you I did and it was so lovely to catch up with a friend and also being able to drop my granddaughter off and pick her up from school and then take her to the park.
The trees seem to be especially colourful this year, more than normal.
I'm so sorry you have severe pain and I know the cold does affect those with Arthritis and the like. It's lovely seeing the Geese fly over, they do make quite a racket.

It really was once the rain had cleared. The park does look particularly pretty at the moment. Yes there is still a fair bit of green on the trees. 😊

I hope your granddaughter’s check up went well. My daughter’s best friend’s little girl had heart surgery in Bristol a couple of weeks ago. Thank God for modern surgery!
I am very fortunate that I am able to walk and I will keep going for as long as I can and hopefully that'll be forever.

It went very well thank you and she's still in remission which is good. Oh my goodness, heart surgery on a little one. I agree though thank goodness we have modern surgery.

So good to hear your granddaughter is in remission. My friend’s son was treated for acute myeloid leukaemia in Bristol in the early 90s and he is now a strong and healthy adult. Treatments have come a long way thanks to research. I wish her, and you, all the best for the future.

Looking after grandchildren is so lovely, they are good girls when we look after them. We are so pleased about the youngest one to get the all clear again, the drugs are working their magic. Oh I love my walking and if I can do without the car I certainly will.

I went into Louth today to do a bit if shopping and drop off my friends b'day present and pick up mine and on drive home sun shining on trees with all different colours then a rainbow came out and looked lovely with sun on then had a double rainbow but couldn't take pic as driving.
