My granddaughter was sent home from school and told to self isolate because a fellow school child had tested positive for COVID my granddaughter developed a headache and rang regarding a test and was given an appointment the next day at a centre an hours drive away her father’ drive her for the test. After five days me results were given and after repeated phone calls the response from the test and trace system was that the sample had probably been lost and that an investigation would be launched but that could take three days!!

It seems so typical of what we've been hearing lately. Such a shame and a waste of travelling time and effort. I hope it's sorted for her soon. x

That's hard for a child, my grandson had to have the test and says that it was very uncomfortable, I hope that when your granddaughter does finally get results that it is negative and that she is well xx
