Your collage of your trip looks really wonderful and beautiful. Glad you had enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us, Zest .
Really lovely photos Zest, also the ones from the collage, thanks for sharing. What an unusual building bottom right??
Hi springcross
That building (bottom right) is the Laxey Wheel - there is info here if you want to have a look:

Great pictures zest. The fungi is amazing, I tried looking it up on the internet but couldn't find it. 🍄🍄
Hi Zest
What beautiful photos, I'm very intrigued by the yellow toad stool. I love the look of the building as well.
Thank you for sharing.
Alicia xx🌈😊👍
Thank you so much, born and raised in England, I never made it to The Isle of Man. The photos are lovely, and I have never seen a yellow mushroom. Wow!! I picked one in Sherwood Forest, it was quite large, had a red top with white spots on it, I took it to school and won the prize that month, a black mouse. I love what Mother Nature does for us, I have a saying, she is the Strongest Woman I Know off. I find I love her gifts more than people.!!!** I live in the US, I have not seen any pretty ones here. Sending love and virtual hugs.......
It looks as if you had a wonderful trip Zest. Your photo collage is lovely!
Amazing photos. I'd love to visit IOM...one day😊xxx
Love the pictures. I have only been to the Isle of Man to the TT Races but it has some lovely countryside. x
Love the isle of man ,dad was a dock master in Liverpool and was in charge of the isle of man boats ,used to go for free in the 70s , beautiful island x
Fabulous photos and beautiful weather for you!
Beautiful photographs of an island l have to admit that I know little about.
It certainly looks very inviting. Thank you for sending the images.
Have a wonderful day today, best wishes, Tim.
Well done, did you tavel by ferry ? and any precautions required ? how did you find the wearing of masks and social distances on island ? were you in hotel or b/b ?
Hi shipyard
I travelled to the Isle of Man via an 'air bridge corridor' (i.e. by plane) - neither Guernsey nor the Isle of Man have had any active cases for some time (Guernsey has had no new confirmed cases of covid-19 for 123 days, and the last confirmed case in the Isle of Man was on 20th May 2020) - hence both islands have lifted social distancing measures.
We did wear masks on the aeroplane, and that was fine. We stayed in a Hotel.
It was an enjoyable holiday.

Thank you for sharing these photos. I've often wondered what the island is like. My friend went and really enjoyed it.
Hello Zest
Great photos, a lot of history in them.
Lovely photos.
Thank you for the beautiful tour of the Isle.
I live in USA and enjoy seeing the lovely countryside of other friends on this post!
We have a lot of mushrooms growing right now in Georgia...all shapes and sizes and colors but haven’t seen a yellow one.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi Williemom
Glad you enjoyed it, and it's great to hear there are lots of mushrooms of all shapes and sizes and colours growing in Georgia - sounds really good. Not many yellow ones around, it seems though!
Hope you're having an enjoyable day - I've enjoyed mine so far.

Hi Zest, your right The Isle Of Man is a beautiful place a lot to explore on the Island I went there twice in the eighties really enjoyed it stopped in Douglas over looking the sea. Is that little lift on the front that takes you up above Douglas still there , and the tram on the front .
Hi Hidden
Along the front in the promenade at Douglas there is massive building work going on, as they are currently refurbing the whole thing - hence the tram isn't working there at the moment. But you can get the electric tram from the far end of the promenade to go to Laxey and Ramsey, and we did that. Not sure about the lift, I didn't spot that!
Zest
It used to be just back of the casino on the front it was a quicker route up than going around . I have always wanted to go back and I may still do I used to get boat from Heysham and across. Thanks for sharing your photos 😁
Hopefully all the road-works will be over by the time you go, and it will be really good.
Hi Zest - super photos, I recognise the Laxey Wheel.
My mother had a sister who ran a B&B in Douglas many years ago. I had a couple of holiday stays there and have an affection for the place xxx
