I Should be in bed, it's 1:20 am, but.... I have just found, and watched, a very funny video clip. An Iranian Brother and Sister, end up, in the USA and Australia respectively. The Sister visits the Brother, bringing her 240Volt hair drier. This clearly doesn't work, on the American 115Volt supply. The Brother sets about 'Fixing' the problem, with hilarious results.....🙄
Firstly, the Brother tries a Power Transformer..... and 'Blows' the breakers, too low a Power rating.😬 Next he is told that Cooker Sockets, which give two Phases, which can be Cross Wired- to give about 220 Volts. The man then spends, quite some time, Moving the Cooker- slipping on the pasta dropped behind, receiving an Electrical Shock, whilst Tinkering around before Stubbing his foot- putting the Cooker back.😖
Finally he realises that the Kitchen Sockets have Two Phases anyway. After much 'Tinkering around', a couple of electric shocks and a few other False starts, the brother manages to come up with an Adaptor System. After 'Testing', his Handy Work.... YES he has 210 Volts and YES the Hair Drier works.... yippee!🤗
Triumphantly the man phones his Sister, with the good news..... she had already bought herself a new Hair Drier!😊😊😊😃😃😃
Rather like the Story of the Wife, who wanted to be 'Eight'.... another time. Night all.
