Animal Crossing

I just know that somebody else here has been using Animal Crossing as a way to stay sane through everything that is going on. For me, at least, tending to my island has kept me from the brink through the pandemic and the riots and now being broken up with from a ten-year relationship. I felt pretty isolated when 2020 started because I didn't have a job due to my anxiety issues and hardly left my home due to agoraphobia. As the year went on, I have felt more and more isolated each day, and now I feel more alone than I ever have in my life. So, yes, Animal Crossing has been a lifeline. I was just wondering if anyone else on here has had the same experience? I know that the game achieved immense popularity due to the lockdowns. I would be very open to exchanging friend codes if anyone wants an island friend...
