Trying to keep fit during the pandemic. We have been on some lovely walks and cycke rides . Just found out my gym is closing. I suspended my membership at the start of lockdown but was hopi g to return when safe. i am really missing my yoga classes. Had a day out with grandchildren yesterday. It was good to have a bit of normality. The baby cygnets we see on one of our walks are nearly swans now.

Good morning ilovedancing
Reading your post and admiring the beautiful photograph, both look just so normal, like the ‘good old days’ pre the virus!
Hopefully this time next year we will look back at Covid-19 with horror and we will all be able to move forward with our families and lives.
Best wishes, stay safe, Tim.
We are trying to get a bit of normal back in our lives. At the start of lockdown i got letters from 2 hospitals telling me to shield but i spoke to my GP and he said i wouldbl be ok gou g for a daiky walk or cycle ride so i have. So pleased i did I dead to think what state i would have been in physically and mentally been stuck in sll this time.
We had a meal in a local restaurant ths week. Only 6 tables very well distanced so we felt safe. It was really nice.
That's the thing life will go on regardless of covid 19.
I personally couldn't believe it when I heard the whispers just after it was an official pandemic about schools closing and exams getting cancelled and had thought at first it was a wind up as it sounded like something off a horror movie.
I remember the Thursday 12 March when everything for me appeared to be cancelled like a Saatchi gallery trip that Saturday and I had made the effort to have attended a welsh class that evening for 7pm only to be sent home at 7.30pm and I had been disappointed and angry!
That Sunday we had gone for Sunday lunch at the Marriott myself and my sister in law and seeing as things were getting cancelled hand over fist we had decided not to upset ourselves and make that the last one out for a while.
We resumed the lunches out on 3 August and with our other friends rescheduling the cancelled events from back in march as most of them can easily be moved for another day, say visiting museums can easily be rebooked for a better day.

Hello catgirl1976
Yes, we certainly do live in very unusual times and it does take some getting used to and adapting almost daily to the changing coronavirus picture.
Still many changes ahead l am sure.
Best wishes, Tim.
Yes it is one of our favourite walks. Just s few minutes from our hose then we can walk miles along the canal.

Beautiful photograph. It has been very good for you, getting out for daily exercise. Sorry to hear about the gym. I guess there will be a few places that will find it a struggle to remain open. 😊🌈
A lovely picture ilovedancing and so glad you had such an enjoyable time!🙏👍
