Fed up of life

We all get times when we feel fed up with life as I have had a fair few episodes of feeling that way as well especially when this first kicked off back in March when everything was getting cancelled as I was frightened of how I would be affected I was angry but I have calmed down as time has gone on.
I know it feels unfair doesn't it when things you enjoyed previously get taken away without warning and there's not a thing you can do about it either!
I had a difficult time many years ago when I suffered from anxiety and I did guided meditation and listened to relaxation things on you tube. It’s a personal thing but it’s worth going through and finding what suits you. Before then I never would have meditated but it really helped me and it Might also help you. The thing is you need to keep calm so you can keep things in perspective. Also find a hobby and exercise. I hope this helps.
Hi
I can understand how you feel as I have been there like so many of us. As well as talking to family and friends, I had councilling, this really helped me as I'm someone who needs to talk things through as many on here know I do go off on a tangent. There are loads of things on line that can help you. If you don't want to talk there are other ways of getting you through this like exercising, say a gentle walk.. At least we are coming out of lockdown slowly now and things might get back to a bit of normality. We are all here for you on this forum. There will always be someone around to reply to you.
Take care and stay safe. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️💜
I feel exactly the same. There doesnt seem to be anything to look forward to anymore. Being vulnerable with disabilities doesnt help either!
No there isn't much of the usual things to look forward to at present is there?
What we do is plan small things to look forward to nowadays that won't be cancelled such as an ice cream after working hard!
I know what you mean. One day at a time. I live on my own and mainly self isolating. I treat myself with cake and wine!
We like tea and cakes here!
Tea too of course! Ha Ha. Wine better though????
I hear you Jain. However, sometimes it can help your mindset if you list your ‘cans’ too? And acknowledging what you’re truly grateful for. Much love, Poll x
Sounds like a bad case of Lockdown Blues.
We have all had episodes during lockdown when we have felt fed up as i most certainly have had my share of them!
