Hi Jennymary

I'm sorry your weather hasn't been the best but there's always tomorrow and it may be a much better day. Glad you've tidied the food cupboards though and cleaned the fridge, I did the fridge last week but have the cupboards to do.

I had an appointment at the Fracture Clinic this morning and all went well, been to the DIY and garden centre.

Here's to better weather tomorrow.

Had a lazy afternoon this afternoon watching movies on the TV and had a lunchtime walk down to the shop for some bread and milk and applied for some jobs and had a session on future learn this morning.

Hi Jennymary, I see you've been quite busy at home today with one thing and another. My husband and I have been lugging furniture around as we are just about to buy some new chests of drawers for the bedroom. So feeling a bit beaten up at the moment and glad to be sitting down with a cuppa! Hope you have a good evening!🙏

Today was fairly productive.

This morning I started two new courses on FutureLearn after having a mini two week break. The first one was on nutrition and the second one was on career development and skills which are needed in the workplace. Both are very interesting. I have done several courses on there previously but needed to take a vacation from learning for personal reasons of my own.

At lunchtime I ordered five tester pots of blue paint online. I cannot wait for the day when I can repaint my bedroom a different shade of blue as well.

In the early afternoon I walked to a duckpond to feed them bread. That was fun. This evening I had a solo French lesson and am chilling now.

Hi, Jennymary, today I did the daily chores. My granddaughter is going to be 5 a week on Saturday. I have been out this afternoon buying a bike for her. I went To Halfords first and they had the bike she wanted on show. I was made up. They are called LOL themed bikes. when I got the counter, they had none in stock anywhere and said it would be a few weeks before any 16 inch bikes come in, which would be after her birthday. Well, shock, horror, I phones my daughter in the shop who then got back to me and said they had two in stock in Smyths, so a mad dash there to buy one. So, panic over and finding myself in a retail park, I went in H and M and bought myself a dress in the sale. So not a bad day at all. 👍😊

I quite like a pottering day, yesterday I was busy dealing with requests for masks, collecting my shopping, cutting out fabric etc. today I’m going to be busy sewing!

I tidied and sorted my pantry. Date sorted everything so that I use oldest first because I have been stuffing things in without rotation for several weeks.

Glad it's done.

Some gardening today. My son finally cut the grass after I asked him if he was waiting for it to rain again so he could get out of doing it.....lol...it worked!!! Still a lot to do re weeds and tidying up, trimming the edges. Its not an easy one to manage as its not flat and its level is above the house, very public too being an old end terrace property.

I used to run past the house when I was very young on my way to school and talk to the man that lived here back then, talking mid to late 1950s. Never dreamt I'd live here one day. I'm 73 now.

I used to love my garden, was so proud of it till health problems started and it became more and more difficult. My son is not a gardener he doesn't enjoy it at all. I could do a bit of painting, frame round the front door that is not on an easel but so far its something I've just thought about. Not a lot else...
