They make you feel better and keep your immune system strong. These are recommended products and are easy to find and plentily available. Hope this helps someone out there. You can stress less about Covid knowing that you have a strong immune system. I am particularly recommending these to someone who ahs underlying health conditions-who is particularly vulnerable to Covid. Stay strong and healthy all.

This is a recommendation of nutritional products and should not be considered medical advice. Thank you.

I do have an underlying health condition, the main medication I take, and the reason I am a Highly Vulnerable, is an Immune System Suppressant. So I dare not boost my Immune System with anything, so irritating.

I use vitamin C, a tablets dissolved in water to boost my blood sugar levels should they sink below 4, otherwise I cant take my insulin medication!

I could also eat an Orange!

Just a cautionary note:

Vitamin C does not work favourably for everyone: it can irritate the stomach, especially at high, though permitted, doses.

I learnt this the hard way!

Dental woes put everything else in the shade! I had to visit the dentist yesterday (on the strict orders of my oncologist - there is an intimate link between bone health and the treatment plan I'm on) and I was dreading it. The logistics alone defeated me. But, in the end, I was rather pleased with the result, as my dentist completed all the work in a single sitting and incredibly swiftly! He then emailed my oncologist to let him know (copying me in) and the upshot is that my oncologist can now once again prescribe Denosumab at my next cycle (he has had to omit it twice). Complex, but it makes sense to those clever medics! I've not had good blood work this cycle; that, combined with additional pain and discomfort this past cycle, mean that I can no longer avoid a CT scan (now scheduled for Friday); we need to figure out what's going on inside.

Thanks for asking! How are you? xXx

I'm glad to hear that your dental work went well but sorry to hear about your pain and discomfort also your blood work. You don't have long to wait for the CT scan and I hope all will be as well as it possibly can be. Once it is known what has to be dealt with, treatment can get underway and the sooner the better - it sounds like you have a good oncologist so that's great. It's good to hear from you but I'm sorry you have been going through such a bad time. I am OK apart from a few niggles but nothing in comparison to you. Take care and I hope all goes well on Friday, I'll be thinking of you. xxxx

Thank you 😊

I do rather dread going to the hospital at present, but I shall just mask up, goggle up, take a deep breath and GO.

And deep clean once I'm back home!

xXx

Thank you for your concern, Ambien1711. However I do believe that as a group, facing our acute health issues daily, we are aware of the advantages of taking vits C, K and D especially, and each, individually know what they can/cannot take. I think we try not to advise others what to take, but answer specific questions on our own experiences, if needs be xx Hope you're ok over there, I feel for you, take special care xx

I got some Vitamin C powder from H&B been taking it for a few weeks now but reading reviews it seems to help a lot of people but not entirely sure if it’s helping me in any way?

As I've posted on several fora in recent months, boosting immune systems in the covid battle should at least be part of our defence. But no, the Governments and traditional medics say nothing either because they don't know or are influenced by big pharma. Instead its "wait for a remote vaccine"...kerching!.

As with most or all medical care, a combined traditional/natural strategy seems logical. If perfected, it would allow for autoimmunities etc. The holy grail!

Yes add a good whole food vitamin, echinacea, zinc, and tea tree oil. The human body can only absorb 500-600 mg of vitamin C at one time. I purchase a time released vitamin C, caplet and take it daily during this Corona virus health challenge.
