I loved this song back then and it still is a good song. What happened to Peter and Gordon? Any idea?

Peter and Gordon were a British pop duo, composed of Peter Asher (b. 1944) and Gordon Waller (1945–2009), who achieved international fame in 1964 with their first single, the million-selling single "A World Without Love". The duo had several subsequent hits in the British Invasion era. Peter Asher was the brother of Jane Asher a one time girlfriend of Paul M cCartney.

Thank you Don. This used to be a favourite of mine. I had totally forgotten about it. I even had a sing-a-long. Isn’t it strange how the words can stick with you? I think I was only a child at the time.
Brings back a lot of memories.If I remember rightly wasn't it a Lennon and Mc Cartney composition?I used to have an LP ( now there's an old term for you) called ' The Songs Lennon and Mc Cartney Gave Away' and I'm pretty sure that was on it.
I think Peter became a film director/ producer? Not sure what happened to Gordon.

My pc won't play music on health unlocked but can get utube and play on my phone. It might be because my pc only has Windows 8
