It's such a good likeness of him, you have captured him perfectly. 🐎🌼
thanks
Horses do like to get out like the rest of us. I had one named Rocky, a park patrol horse. Totally bomb proof. Hang gliders over head a few feet didn’t bother him.
Nice sketch.
You are in Oregon?
That's a great horse you had - ignoring hang gliders! I'm in NE Oregon, in an area called the Wallowa Mountains. It's the corner next to SE Washington and Western Idaho!
I haven’t gotten there yet but it is on my list. We are in Northern California and travel to Idaho now and then so it really isn’t too far.
I realized the reason cowboys cuss so much is because of their horses.
Our horse didn’t like nail guns from the construction nearby. That was the only thing that spooked him.
You live in a beautiful area. I am sure you appreciate it.
I do. (My experience growing up on a ranch is that cowboys cuss when they get cowkicked).
Good sketch Wallowa, you're very talented. x
That is fabulous Wallowa, and well done Bud!
Thanks!
Thanks! It reminds me to appreciate it all, too!
Horses are such lovely intelligent and responsive animals, when at school, if I was missing from a lesson, they knew they would find me in the stables. I preferred the horses to most of the people I knew, even when they did stand on my feet and break the odd toe.
