Camomile field

I took Teddi for a walk in the fields behind my house and in the field behind where the lambs were is a camomile field.

So I thought I'd share a photo. Its smells beautiful.

We have been lucky where we are as we have only had occasional light showers and seem to have missed the down pours.

Ah thank you. Xx

Lovely photos Ali and Teddi looks very happy. You've taught me something as I didn't know what camomile looked like so thank you. I'll have to make a conscious effort to smell it. So sorry the wild garlic has finished.

It's been raining lots here, can't wait for the sun.

Enjoy your day xx

Wild garlic is delicious. I love it. Strange there is a whole field of camomile but it is lovely.

The smell of wild garlic, in fact when I'm cooking with garlic infused olive oil, I can't have garlic at present, sniff the bottle, I love the smell

When I see camomile I'll have a good sniff.

How lovely is this? I have been considering turning an area of my garden into a chamomile lawn. Seeing this is giving me an idea how it will be. Approximately how tall does it grow? Lovely photograph.

Thatโ€™s a great idea. Camomile in full flow grows 6 to 9 inches. If you do decide to do it and want any advice just ask as Phil is a Professional gardener ๐Ÿ˜Š

She certainly is. I used to walk her at least 5 times a week but now itโ€™s only twice ๐Ÿฅบ Dog walking is not in demand now. I canโ€™t wait for my reunion with Lola as she loves me almost as much as I love her. If they donโ€™t need me to walk her Iโ€™ll just have to take her out anyway. Itโ€™s been too long ๐Ÿ˜” I canโ€™t wait much longer....willow our Cat is glad to see the back of pesky Lola (she asked me to tell you that) xx

I have just been reading in the Sidmouth Herald about a missing dog, I don't live near Sidmouth and never read the paper but just stumbled upon something whilst scrolling that caught my eye. It said "Can you help find Harry, the missing dog". "Nine-year-old Harry went missing in a field in Tipton on February 6.

He is a black but greying Patterdale with a small white patch on his left ear and white hest". Apparently the owners are devastated as you would expect. I thank God that never happened to us with any of our dogs, I really don't know what I would have done if one of them had ever gone missing. It's heartbreaking. x

I know what you mean. Stops me getting a dog we have had a few things around here. Last week a rescue dog lept over a garden fence on the first day, lucky they found it but they had to get professional trappers in as the dog was lost in the woods for 5 days. We also had some people selling very weak puppies in the service station. Think people knew they shouldnโ€™t buy them but on the same hand couldnโ€™t leave them! Last year a vets lost a dog while it was in their care and so many dogs are being stolen itโ€™s sickening!

Before I was born my parents had their dog and all the puppies stolen.

I hope they find that dog. With Facebook they seem to track them down as word gets around pretty Quick ๐Ÿคž

The poor owners with friends and even stranger volunteers have looked for him in several areas but to no avail. It's happened before so I hope someone finds the poor lad and gets in contact with them or the paper but it has been four months, although stranger things have happened. I can't get the poor thing out of my mind. I'm glad to hear that the trappers got the dog, I remember you saying about that a few days ago. Your parents must have been beside themselves to have that happen. There are some exceptionally callous people out there who give nothing for the feelings of others or the animals. Strict sentencing should be brought in for people like that if they catch them. xx

Lovely photos thank you. I was especially happy to see the lovely camomile pics because I have some in a trough, which my hubby had planted awhile ago.

Ours are still young plants and just green so hopefully we have a nice surprise to come when they flower. They appear to be growing quickly at the moment but I am wondering if there's another reason he chose camomile?! Hmm maybe hinting at me needing some calming down!

Seriously though thanks for the pics- lovely to see.
