Quotation for Tuesday 23rd June 2020

Hi everyone,

I've been listening to some of the proposed new freedoms we may be able to enjoy in coming weeks as lockdown eases. It's not an easy time for anyone and we are feeling our way in the dark whatever restrictions are lifted. It's almost certain to make many of us fearful.

With that in mind I went in search of quotations on fear and how to overcome it.

This one seems quite relevant to what we are facing now.

“I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear.” - Rosa Parks -

Rosa Parks must have screwed up her courage to do what she did when she refused to give up her seat on that bus, and now it's our turn to do the same, as we try to find our way back to a less restricted life.

Hope you all have a really good day today!🔆🔆🔆

It might be a lonelier path but I bet it's a more contented path with less material things in your life.

I've not bought any new clothes or gadgets or gizzmos at all and I've not missed it one bit.

Any money I have had has gone on my garden.

A very courageous lady. A brilliant quote to keep in mind as we are finding our way back. 👍🌼🌸

Excellent quote from a fine example thanks for bringing that one out for us x

Hi Callendersgal, a very good quote as I'm sure I'm like many as at times I can procrastinate and get nowhere. Recently I said to my eldest things need to change in that we need to open up more, she said you've said that before, well I'm no longer procrastinating and am actioning what I've said. I've started already.

Therefore, like the quote my mind is made up. We've got to move on, it's not viable to stay like this and the economy can't survive, we've already lost some companies.

Let's move on with courage and determination.

Take care
