I cannot draw, and have no worthwhile art training, but have recently taken up watercolour painting. This was yesterday's effort, to keep me occupied for an hour in mine and my wife's self isolation.

I love it. Am so jealous everyone being able to turn to art and I can’t even manage a straight line.
I used to be like that before the lockdown. Would stare at a blank piece of paper. Just draw something anything and get going 🙂💚🌈
Even the great grandson laughs at my efforts
Oh dear! 🙂
My wife laughs at mine. . . . .
Oh no! That one is lovely, so atmospheric!
I’ve just started watercolours too. Yours is very good. I really like your style 🙂
I think it's great, I really like it. Something you should definitely keep doing. 🎨
I like it, I found watercolour painting is quite hard to do because I used too much water 🙄 Don’t give up 😊
You've definitely acquired the art of watercolours Brent_Wilson. Beautiful colours and lovely style. I hope you keep trying! 😊
Hi. I just love the fact that you are trying something you haven't done before. Your painting gives the impression of a very wet, rainy, blustery day. AndI feel that! If this is your first attempt you should be very pleased with the effect. Its good! What paper did you use to paint on?
Now you have got the painting bug you will find great pleasure and satisfaction. I painted with oils for pleasure over 20 years ago but would love to try water colours. I am still trying to get the confidence to make a start. There are so many people on the Forum having a go and find they not only find they have a gift but have found a very satisfying pastime.
I'm delighted for you.
😁
I can't draw either so have taken up painting by numbers. If you can't draw you can certainly paint, this is lovely.
