Here is a photo of the lambs at the bottom of my garden. They are so characterful. Leaping about and running around this old tractor tyre.

Ah I’m glad you like them. The farmer who is a lady has just come to feed them all. She seems really kind. I Feel so lucky being able to see them. Enjoy your day 🌈💚
I know when farmer comes to feed ours they all set off at a.gallop to bottom end of field
Lovely photo. I walk most days to a field where there are sheep and lambs. It lifts my spirits. Just seeing how much the lambs have grown over the past weeks makes you realize that time waits for no man.
I'm just off for my walk now..

Dear Agoodenough,
I went to a Boarding School, in Kent, during my Teens and we were surrounded by fields, of every conceivable kind and, at this time of year, there were lambs. Now, if you don't know this I'll explain- Lambs 'bleat' to their Mothers, and the Mums bleat back. With this in mind, if you can Mimic a 'Destressed Lamb' sound, then All the 'Mothers' call their Lambs and all the Lambs call back.... In other words you can 'Start The Whole Field Off'. Some, of us, got 'Quite Good' at it🤣. NOT that we EVER did this of course!

Lol honestly they don’t need any setting off. They are quite a vocal bunch. Morning, noon and night so they don’t need me encouraging them. Haha well at least you spend your boarding school days well....mimicking sheep 😂

No you don’t. They are gorgeous. We have some up the road and I was wondering if I’d ever seen completely black lambs before. They must lose their black wool as they develop as there were no fully grown black ewes in the field with the black lambs.
There are black sheep near me. The horses found them alarming!
Maybe they are Jacob sheep? I think the black lambs near us are.

Thank you. I've grown attached to the ewe which is number 22. You can tell to look at the lambs faces if they are boys or girls. The girls have softer features. We've never had sheep in the field before so feeling lucky 🙂

Aww how cute are they Ali and what a fabulous view. I bet you can hear the lovely sound of the lambs when you go to sleep and when you wake up, it's so calming I find.

Yes love hearing them. They were noisy to start with although I didnt mind but they have settled down now as they have got bigger🙂
Yes as they grow don't call for mums as much
