It is a difficult time with COVID and lockdown. I believe it is healthier to focus on what we can do as opposed to what we can’t. We can paint, share, connect and support.
There are many of us here who do have health conditions and when I read about others’ challenges and illnesses it gives further perspective.
Stay safe 😊

I'm with you on that, there is still plenty we can to. Also we have a lot to be grateful for compared to some other Countries. We can stay in touch with our relatives. At the moment there are plenty of downloads to keep people's minds busy and active. Abled people can still exercise and shop and disabled hopefully are getting the support they need. There is much good we can focus on at the moment. 😊😊
Yes, no excuses for not going indoor stretches/exercises now, I have all day to do them!
Like another poster said the other day about how lots of good things in life say like reading and walks and naps and kindness aren't cancelled which is right.
I have been enjoying online learning myself and the humanitarian aid course makes me realise how fortunate we are in the UK compared to those poor people.
May I ask what you have been writing ? Just curious, obviously, entirely your choice if you wish to keep that private 😁
Oh I do agree Narwhal10. As I'm typing this I'm listening to the current situation in the Yemen, where people are already in dire straits from starvation. There's no lockdown there currently, for obvious reasons. It already has far too much to cope with. But now we should understand why we must be more compassionate to all people, outside of political considerations. Pockets of desperation like this particular one will enable COVID19 to continue to thrive, bringing it back to us too. Take care and stay safe. And let's all consider those around the world who are so much worse off than we are today. 🙏
Very true, I really like this site, we may all have different health issues but they seem to drift into the background as we share our current situation.
I'm quite lucky that I don't get lonely with my own company, probably something to do with being an only child; I guess I had to make my own fun, so I'm quite self- sufficient.
