Springtime in our orchard

One of our cherry trees. The blossom is great in spring and feeds the early bees. Later, the fruit is so tasty - along with our apples, pears, plums and damsons.

Brilliant, Osidge: there's nothing so precious as home grown goodies😀😀😀

So true. As well as the orchard we also have a large strawberry bed, blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries, potatoes, tomatoes and string beans. Hoping for a good harvest.

Excellent : methinks homegrowing will become increasingly essential as climate catastrophe marcheth onward and our imported food starts to, literally, dry up! nytimes.com/2019/08/08/clim...

Beautiful tree. Sounds as if you're well on the way to self sufficiency! Good for you.

That's glorious Osidge!
