...my very first (and possibly only!) colour-by-numbers masterpiece 🤷
Thanks, Zoonie... Took me forever...
I suspect I shall stick with Scrabble!

Well done! Me thinks this would go well as an illustration in a magical story. Its the sort of house every little boy or girl would love to live in.
Cheers
Chrys x
That is actually really really good.
I am actually really really pleased you think so
I am actually really really happy about that 😊
That looks great, I really need to start doing something like that x
I was tempted to give up half-way through. Stuck with it, though, and - as you say - it sort of concentrates the mind and helps you relax and forget about all the nonsense around us.
Not sure I'll do another one today... Possibly tomorrow...
Thanks for pointing me in its direction xXx
I am such a technophobe (according to my children, anyway) that I never think of researching this kind of thing, so when Zoonie alerted me to it, I was pleasantly surprised
As per!
Did you do that on paper? It really reminds me of a traditional Christmas card, my favourite time of year too xx
All done via an app called Oil Painting (by Colour Planet) that Zoonie suggested to me. Amazing what technology can do! xx
Wow it looks great, Zoonie could have started a trend. xx
Lovely. Well done! Did you use gouache paints?
Very calming.
Oops! It fooled me! Great! I’m too used to my old paintbrushes and palettes! Will get myself updated now that I’m stuck indoors. I’m learning Coding online. It’s great! Like another language. Keep at those pictures, you are a natural x
What! Me too but I don’t remember a thing! I think the guy that taught me then was more techie than teacher and no one knew what he was trying to explain! It is all a bit clearer now and less weird. Anyway, back to your picture. I am sure everyone here is looking forward to seeing the next one.
Was this painted, it looks good, I do adult colouring sometimes with numbers . Last week I fell asleep while doing it, as I am an insomniac, and the pen went hrough several pages. I still carried on regardless. It keeps me busy, passes the time.
You've done really well though
It may have taken you a But what a great result and you can print it put it the wall for ever so time is relevant to result.
I really like it .
It has a quite mystical calm charm.
That makes me want to be there, so Nice x
I know what you mean: for me, it has this wintry, Christmassy quality - my favourite time of year Yet it also reminds me of what I imagine Heidi's setting to have been (another favourite)
Somehow it looks warm there, even with the Christmas feel,
I think its great I am given to wonder about. They say you can tell the artist by their brush strokes and no 2 are the same. I ponder if it the same with digital painting by numbers.
As you have given the picture something other that just filling in the spaces. It is quite lovely to look at x😍
I was drawn to the bare bones of the piece in part because of the isolation of the hut/lodge: there's a warm glow in the window that I find particularly attractive. I'd like to trudge through the snow to the door, be allowed inside and make my way to the fire, newly stoked; I'd sit on the hearthrug while the flames leapt high, inviting me to linger a while and take in a little winter mirth and serenity - and a fortifying brew
Heaven! x
You put the warmth in the window for sure x
