Sharing my relaxing aquarium hobby

Thought this might be useful for those who need some time relaxing in isolation, watching my fish tank set to music on YouTube at youtu.be/g5vZQMiwOgw

Hang in there everyone! This too shall pass . . .

So what hobby do you now have time to do given this 'time out' moment in your normally too busy life? Raising tropical fish is just one of mine.

Hi GleasonJim, thanks for sharing. That was truly relaxing. There's something about aquariums that's deeply relaxing and that one is a beauty. What a lovely habitat for the fish. Loved the accompanying Dvorak too. I haven't had tropical fish for years, but I know that they take quite a lot of caring for if you want to have happy healthy fish.

I seem to have got so busy that I haven't been able to do any of my crafting hobbies. I think it's because people are taking more time to call me and send texts and online messages.

Thanks for this link. I can re-view every time I need a quiet relaxing moment. 😊

Lovely community tank, and a good mix of fish too. Love the Red tailed Black Shark, and the tetras. Are the orange ones Mollys? a couple of species I don't recognise, but its more than 30 years since I kept fish. I used to love corydoras catfish.

Cheers, Midori

Thanks Midori, always appreciate hearing back when I share that beautiful hobby. I too love those corys and have 6 in that office tank alone. More in my other two tanks, so much fun to watch. Maybe a time to get back into that hobby? Even if just a small tank with a Betta and a cory??? (smile)

Unfortunately, much as I'd love it, my carer would be the one doing the work of cleaning and maintaining it, as I developed an allergy to uncooked fish protein, which is why they had to go.. Me with an attack of hives and wheezing like a terminally ill warthog is no pretty sight!

Still love watching them though!

Cheers, Midori
