Trying my best

Hi all, I must admit that I have adjusted, along with my wife to self isolation. I have bought a treadmill (Confidence) £149..00 and I love it. I've gradually built up to my personal comfort level as we are all different. I eat as healthy as can. I do a daily meditation relaxing and focusing on my breath. I read novels and do oil painting. Being confined to our house I take things a bit slower and I really appreciating time now. I do have a positive attitude and I will try to make the best of any given situation. I wish you all peace and love and I really hope this might inspire you to make the best of being housebound.

Great stuff coopo! You’re doing much better than trying; you’re succeeding. You’ve found the key to keeping your mind contented through having a varied and interesting routine. Good for you. 😊

A lovely post and so positive. Well done on the way you are staying so positive.😊

Hi coopo. Glad your doing well. I have been stopped half way through a cardio rehab course. Got a pacemaker, and copd Which is the main concern to worry about. Was thinking about getting a treadmill but there is that much selection and price. Plus was thinking about how much electric they use. Any advice will be helpful Thanks Brian

Hi Brian. I bought the, Confidence. Treadmill. Only £149..00 in the UK.

It's fine for my weight of 170lbs. It's not for heavy people.

Well done! I have bought skipping ropes but found it's not like riding a bike. How on earth can one forget how to skip?

Skipping might be too much for A F I think. But we are all different.

Good for you...I bought a stationary bike that just sits there for rainy days and to hot days (live in Florida) husband bought an outdoor bike. We bike a little in the early morning hours and I go with my daughter as she is now working from home. I haven't road a bike in years and loving it!

Sounds good Alex, the freedom of cycling is great, I Remember the liberating feeling as a child. Florida must be a great place to ride your bike. We went there some years ago now, we drove down the East Coast across alligator ally to Naples. Then back up the west coast, loved it 🤣.

Keep fit.

It is nice but the summers are very hot and humid though now is great to be outdoors. Fortune to that I live in an area were we are not on top of each other so you can go for a walk or a bike ride.

I must also admit it is liberating, after being stuck in the house, to get out and bike to. I feel so free as I did when I was a kid boating. The wind blowing in face. I love it.
