Incontinence stay in place

My question??? Do I have to worry about not able to get adult diapers and wipes!!! And second thing is, if someone test positived at work or where I live how do I take care of my medical needs like my incontinence, pills and my well being. I was wondering what to do if this did happen??? With everything that's going on I just need to know what to do.

Where do you live? usually I find it is people from America who refer to incontinence pads as diapers. Anyway, I have been able to get the stuff I need for Crohn's on the internet and in the UK can be ordered through Age UK web site, if you are not comfortable ordering through Ebay or Amazon. A few days ago I managed pads, support knickers and more single use gloves though a UK medical/independence site, enough for 2 - 3 weeks. Most areas now have organised voluntary services to assist people with getting what they need, have a look at the pinned posts on this page, should be helpful.

I am in the USA/NY . I heard that FedEx and UPS only delivered to there stores. I also heard that there is a shortage of adult diapers in the USA. I do need diapers but if there is a shortage I can only afford small quantity at a time.

Have a look on the internet, for the companies that sell Walking Aids, Helping Hands, Bath Aids and things like that to the public. In the UK these often sell Incontinence pads etc to the public also. I know I once found what I wanted by searching with google for "Medical Devices"!! some sites are a little coy about using the word incontinence, a bit like bowels the last great taboo subject, except to the millions of us that suffer.

Check Amazon.com or Walmart.com for the brand you use or call some of your local drug stores.

As far as prescription meds, I have heard that some might be hard to get; you could call your pharmacy and ask if you will have a problem filling your prescription or any problems purchasing over the counter meds you need.

Ohio has an awesome site with all sorts of information concerning the coronavirus; I'll check to see if NY has one too. Also, Ohio has a phone number for questions.

I found NY's website: coronavirus.health.ny.gov/home

This info is from NY's COVID-19 (coronavirus) main coronavirus web page:

New Yorkers can call the COVID-19 Emotional Support Hotline at 1-844-863-9314 for mental health counseling.

Further down on NY's site it says to contact your local health dept for concerns.

I'll post a link for that too; this is a list of your county health offices. I hope this info will help you. You can call them with your concerns...I'm thinking the phones might be extra busy, so you might need to keep trying.

nysacho.org/directory/

If possible, check out the first link I posted. You'll find even more info than I listed here.
