What to do now: I am in NY,a covid-19 stay at home policy. MY laundry is piling up. What to do with pick-up and delivery laundry service? Any idea? Anyone?

what to do with my dirty laundry?

I'd wear a mask - or cover my face with a scarf if I didn't have a mask - wear gloves and exchange the clothes bag outside if possible. Maybe place the bags on the ground/floor and step away so the courier can take them. Deliveries in Britain are continuing for food, drinks, etc, so clothes deliveries should still be possible. Is NY allowing deliveries?
If I was really desperate, I'd get soap and wash the clothes in the bathroom.
I thought about washing my own clothes too. However I am going to try laundry pick-up delivery following your advice.
I would ask them to call just before entering your building, assuming you have an apartment. Then you could put your things in a bag outside your door just as they are arriving. You wouldn't have contact at all when they pick it up. Would that work? Perhaps you could pay for it over the phone with your credit card. Then when they return it, you could have them call just before dropping it off, they could knock on your door upon delivery, and you could quickly bring it in--again, no contact.
