Ready Steady Cook

With supplies short and people anxious about food, I thought we might have a game of Ready Steady cook?

You can post a list of a few ingredients you actually have, and see what meal ideas people can give you to make with them.

How does that sound?

Sounds, like a great idea, I'm not much of a cook so I won't be taking part though

You never can tell, the most creative people may only cook that one thing, but it might just fit those ingredients. I know I made a load of nutritious but odd meals when I was a student!

Salmon (broken up - you will get more meals out of it) with rice and vegetables with a sprinkle of curry powder as you fry the cooked ingredients together? If you add some chopped onions and a chopped hardboiled egg, you can call it kedgeree.

That sounds great thank you. I love kedgeree. Xxxx

Oh, this sounds like fun. I'm in the U S so I'd love to hear cooking ideas from the UK or other area!

A great idea DrunkJam_UK, particularly at a time when we might not be able to get the usual ingredients we would normally use for a particular dish.

That's what thought, if you're stuck with a few things in the cupboard, maybe someone else has a fab thing to do with those ingredients.
