I love the idea of small observations in the everyday. They are there all around but are lost in the rush to in the elsewhere.
So here is me just focusing down on the small things that cheer me up in an attempt to smother the larger worries.
A snap shot of a trip to a local small town on a Grey day in middle England
I notice a large sign. "Summer is Gods idea". A few minutes latter a man in a dog collar and electric blue socks strides past. I wonder where he is going.
The young woman in the charity shop is talking to her mother on the mobile phone. It is obvious that there has been a family breavement, she ends the conversation by saying "I love you". Quite powerful that to someone who's family has never voiced it.
I make a mental note to write it if not say it.
A small boy is in charge of a lip salve. He has daubed it in hair on cheek and forehead.
May you all have small enjoyable moments today.
