Welcome!

I'm sorry I'm not a health care practitioner so can't give you specific advice on the drug you've taken. I did Google mirtazapine and drowsiness is a known side effect.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mir...

I was prescribed citalopram and found I felt worse for 2-3 weeks before the side effects started to lift. Maybe consult your dr?

Do you have help and support with your baby? (I'm assuming you have post natal depression ? )

hi I was put on them and omfg they were lethel knocked me clean out for whole week end took first one on a Friday and woke up sunday sometime lol never took them again lol.

How are you doing now? Have things improved?

Hey! How are the symptoms feeling now? Have they eased off? I'm not a healthcare professional but my understanding is most antidepressants can make you feel like that for the first couple of weeks but it should ease off. My CPN did mention looking to change the time of day I took mine if I found symptoms like drowsiness didn't go. Perhaps if you are suffering in the day it takes that long for them to get into your system so if you took them in the morning the drowsiness would kick in at nighttime instead xx
