is enyone having bad hip pain and neack pain.....floramay
I have pain in my hips - more in left than right, so don't think it is PMR, but more to do with the underlying age related degeneration. Have started an "excercise on prescription" (for want of a better title) programme and had my first session yesterday - think it will take a while for my hips to get used to it, cos my left one - and my left knee - are very sore today. I think it will take a while to get the programme right.
My neck is fine (apart from the usual "pain in the neck" of kids, animals, work, etc ... ! )
Hope you improve soon
Yes neck and hip pain have been one of the problems I have,I find if I do neck excerise in the morning and use a warm wheat bag with a few drops of lavender oil it helps.

Hip and neck pain are very common symptoms of PMR, particularly if we overdo things on a 'good' day - it is very necessary to learn to pace ourselves with a little exercise but not too much. I found a largish heated pad helped when my neck and shoulder pain was at its worst - available from A - - - s!
hi,i started with hip pain in left side in feb , at first they thought it was from knee, then back then hip, turns out none of these but may be a little thing called Meralgia Paresthetica, which is a nerve rubbing on the hip or something,if you have a burning sensation when touching thigh or pain in groin or even a feeling of not wanting things in left pocket as it makes your leg sore to touch have it checked out.
