My doctor rang me to discuss my results.Said I needed to carry the red card at all times.

Will need another test in about 3 months.

Keep on with very slow taper.

Is going to contact endocrinology to discuss.

Sent me a link to print off Steroid Sick Day Rules which I have and put on my fridge for all to see!

Good advice. Anyone on Pred and for at least a year after stopping, should carry one. I would suggest a step further and wear a visible alert item like a bracelet/band/necklace. If you are unconscious or incoherent, it may be the responder may not have time to go through your personal effects to find a card. One doesn’t always have need to take the correct container in all situations either.

What were your results? Do you mind saying? My rheumatologist said to stay on 4mg as my adrenal glands weren't working well enough (280 after 30 mins and 360 after 60 mins) and would not recover so to stay on 4mg forever, but with no other advice or strategy, nor a referral to an endocrinologist.

In that situation, I would ASK for referral to an Endo! They are more the experts at dealing with adrenal questions.
