first some great news finally got a blue badge ,a great help

My new diagnosis is Pulmonary Hypertension.

Doctor is making enquiries at Regional pulmonary hypertension services which is based at Sheffield.for treatment might be possible there

Has anyone else got this problem

That sounds reasonable - and the good news is that, unlike PMR, there is a range of medications that can be used for management and that has improved a lot in the last few years. You should be looked after better than a lot of us are by their rheumy!!

Oh, and been accest for oxygen, but still need to go to clinic for them to walk me around etc hope there not long in sending for me .

I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension without ventricular failure summer 2023 as incidental finding on echocardiogram.pressure 42. D/c’d Voltaran cream application and decreased sodium intake. Pulmonary artery pressure normal 22 6 weeks later on repeat echo. Cardiologist assumes pressure elevation due to side effect of Voltaran cream.

applied Voltaran to hip for bursitis. Occ to shoulder. At times, used daily. When prescribed, gp said no side effects from topical application.
