Support Groups

I am interested to know if anyone in the East Midlands, Leicestershire and more specifically North West Leicestershire runs or knows of a support group where members meet face to face to offer support and advice to each other on a regular basis, preferably on the day time.

It might be worth asking the charity to set up one if there is enough interest- if you scroll down the page you can contact them.

Seven years ago there was nothing in Yorkshire so two of us set one up. It is now going from strength to strength, meeting in 4 locations across North, South and West Yorks!

You could start by just meeting in a cafe or garden centre for coffee, or a local library or community room.

I live in Loughborough J23 on M1 , there is no support group here. I joined the zoom support meeting run by Penny Denny which I enjoy although it would be a good idea to meet face to face with others with PMR.
