I got my results last week from rheumatologist visit (9 different tests). The nurse sent a message and told me results were normal, but continue orders to reduce Pred 1 mg each month. My CRP was.70 and ESR 26. Do these numbers indicate PMR?

What were they previously? And what are the normal ranges (in brackets after the figure usually) from your lab?
ESR and CRP are not specific to PMR - they are raised in any inflammatory state so merely indicate that there is something going on somewhere but not where. They are more significant when you look at them in the context of previous results and your symptoms. I would have said they could be raised to be honest - but I don't have the context to say one way or the other.

Do you mean 70 for CRP? If so , not normal and indicates high inflammation -but not the actual cause
