I am sure all of us who were helped by Michael and who enjoyed his programmes and his ebullient personality are very sad and upset to hear the news of his death.

He helped people to tackle preventable health problems and many of us have followed his advice. He had a major impact on people's health and wellbeing. His life was well-lived, and he is gone far too soon.

Blessings and thanks to Michael and thoughts to Clare and his family at this terrible time.

Very sad...if he'd been found earlier there may have been a different outcome...but we may never know.

So very sad. His whole mission was to keep our nation healthy. His lovely wife Clare contributed so much too. We shall miss him greatly. Beloved thoughts and prayers for all his family at this devastating time.

He was greatly loved in Australia too. A man of such humanity and vibrancy and now gone way too soon. We are very sad indeed.

poor sleep due to PMR & Pred meant I often put Michael Mosley's podcasts on in the middle of the night... wonderful and I could listen to the same one night after night as I had always fallen asleep at some point and lost the plot... I think there is still of wealth of MM in BBC Sounds

a great loss and very sad way to go

Personally he helped me loose weight over lockdown & the Fast 800 book is on the top of my recipe book pile. But more importantly we’ll miss the way he conveyed such sense to the nation in that fun way. You knew he was right. My heart goes out to his family.

He seemed like a friend, and always put things in a way that made them relatable, interesting, and even enjoyable. I have several of his books. It's so sad that he tried so hard to help both himself and others to live a longer, healthier life, and yet he ended up with such an untimely death. He seemed a lovely man. At least he has left a great legacy.

Thank you Viveka for mentioning Michael Mosley. It is his family who have lost him most of all but we have lost him too. Lasting gratitude for all his wonderful and attainable advice.
