PMR flare!

I think I may be in the midst of a flare. Haven't felt quite right for the past week or so, I am thinking due to stress over recent diagnosis of hiatus hernia and endoscopy.

JOY !!!

Certainly lot of the old symptoms are back, history of reducing from 10mg to 9mg with no success whatsoever and now wondering whether to up again from 10mg for a few days and see if things improve?

Would it normally be a small increase, 1/2 mg or would it be more like 5mg. eg. up to 15mg ?

Tried to contact GP yesterday via e consult and not replied. Said I might get something back mid next week !

Any advice or experience gratefully received

See this re usual advice for dealing with flares-

- if it’s been brewing for over a week - just going to 10mg is unlikely to be enough. So take the extra 5mg for 5-7 days and then back down to 10mg.
