Bloods done but still wondering

Bloods done ESR down to 2 just wondering if that means my inflamation is low,never feel tired or low just now, could Adrenals be working down at 3mg pred xx

ESR results - shows the Pred is keeping your inflammation under control - as it should be…

As for adrenals - mine seem to get their act together around 3mg - but just be aware they won’t be in tip-top condition yet. Can take anything up to a year after coming off Pred for that to happen… so you may still get ‘off’ days

But I’d say..good news all round.😊

Thanks DL, IAM staying at 3 to make sure all settled until after new year, I've got Flu Jag on Sunday so want it settled down, take care Harry.

They may well be able to top with cortisol beyond the 3mg which is great. If you took it away suddenly they might struggle. I too was feeling much better on 3mg but the drop from 3-2.5mg wasn’t good but 2.5mg to 2mg was better.

All good there - low inflammation and yes, it is possible for adrenals to be working together with 3mg pred but don;t get too excited and taper too fast because that 3mg could be doing more than you think!
