sorry, don’t think I have enough info in last post! I’m 68 and always been active until pmr. I’m taking bisoprolol, ramipril and atorvastatin after a heart attack 10 years ago and 10 mg escitalapram after losing mum and dad within short period of time. Dad in the covid period which was a nightmare. I’ve had a mri scan recently to try rule out Parkinson’s as I have developed a head tremor over last 6 months or so. That was clear so I have another mri booked with dye later this month. Hope that’s enough info. Thank u

You could have just edited your previous post to add this - then you don’t have 2 threads running…

And so sorry to hear about your parents, very difficult so close together…

Actually, it would be more helpful if you put the question and the info together in a single post. Or put the info in your bio on your profile.

The tremor - what dose of pred were you at when it started? You are definitely showing signs of adrenal insufficiency at present and that can cause tremors.

Also sorry to hear about your parents - I am always amazed that people of our generation still have parents alive. My father died when I was 17 and my mother has been gone over 20 years now.

Thank u for you’re reply, I’m hopeless with tech but I’ll get better! I was on about 8mg when tremor became really noticeable? I have wondered whether it’s something to do with the osteoporosis?

That is about the level that many people start to notice their adrenal function isn't too good.

Osteoporosis causes very little in the way of symptoms - not even painful unless you develop fractures.

Sympathy for your loss, I understand how it can knock you off course. I lost both my Dad and Step Dad on 29th December last year they were 86 and 87. Then in February my ex husband who was only 68 also died. Almost immediately afterwards I fell ill ( not a flare of my condition) and had tests for cancer, inconclusive but I’m still unwell. Grief and stress take a big toll. Take care of your wellbeing.
