It depends on the context - it can be autoimmune or adrenal insufficiency and both are used here.

I think you must mean AI? On here it would be adrenal insufficiency or Autoimmune, which is what PMR & GCA are.

On FAQs there is a list of abbreviations, but AI isn't listed. Maybe Mrs Nails will add it?
