Itchy, watery eyes after mowing

Hi. I'm a GCA patient, diagnosed in AUG 22. I was started on 60 MG PRED and have weaned down to 15 MG at present. I was also a PMR patient several years ago, and remember that the PRED I was taking for it all but eliminated by annual springtime allergy symptoms.

Not true this time around!

I would have thought that the PRED I was taking would eliminate my itchy, watery eyes and runny nose this time of year -- but the pollen seems to be affecting my eyes more than ever. They get puffy and bloody looking very quickly -- even while on the PRED.

Does this makes sense?

Thanks

Maybe it isn't JUST hayfever?

Have you tried any over-the-counter meds? I'd be a mess without my levocetirizine
