I posted a few days ago about having a lot of new pain that is affecting my sleep, when I’m lying down the pain is much worse. Also I have a new pain near my right ankle, not the joint, maybe a tendon?, and walking hurts!
On the forum I was advised to see my GP. She is out of the office until next week. I’ve made an appt. with her nurse practitioner for Wednesday and asked for CPR and sed rate tests.
I’ve got moderate scoliosis also, in addition to severe osteoarthritis in the right knee. GCA diagnosis 4 years ago, in the occipital area.
I’m on 9 mg pred and haven’t increased because of this pain, but it seems more painful than any previous flares. I’m feeling pretty rotten and not able to do much at the moment.
Tylenol does nothing and ibuprofen held a little bit.
Is it usual for PMR pain to be bilateral?
Any suggestion or advice will be much appreciated
