Thank you to all the people who responded to my post on Leflunomide.

Most people were of the opinion that I tapered off far too quickly, and that I would be better off, getting back on an even keel again, before trying again much more slowly.

I have now been on the increased 15 mg for 12 days. The discomfort I experienced has eased, but unfortunately, I now feel very depressed! (the exact opposite to when I first went on them) I’m speaking to my GP again tomorrow to see what she recommends. Be in touch to let you know soon!

Although steroids are a wonder drug they do have rather a lot of side effects and feeling down is one of them. Tell your GP tomorrow and hopefully they should be able to help.

It is also very disappointing when you have to go back - and the whole thing is depressing enough without that. Talk to the GP and don't gloss over it.
