there are still quite a few people asking for help without filling in their profile.
Without knowing whether you have PMR or GCA, how long you have been diagnosed and dose at start and at time of questioning it is very hard to answer your questions.
Also please update your profile as things change,
Thanks

Guilty as charged! But I’d like to remind people about FAQs, as there’s some posts about subjects which have excellent FAQs. Also, are people using the search field? It’s the first place I go, & usually I get so much info I don’t need to post! I do realise, though, that most people prefer to get an individual response…I’d just like to say ‘think before you post’…are the answers already on the forum?! DL & PMRPro are great to do so much each day, but their time should be taken into consideration, & not taken for granted! Thanks!!
yes the FAQs are great for the first search before asking on here,
My point was that people ask questions without us knowing their diagnosis, how long they have had it and the dose they are on. It makes our wonderful experts’ job harder
absolutely, I quite agree, & admit mine isn’t up to date, but I’m waiting on three consultants appointments which may change things! I was just adding in to yours that I think people aren’t using FAQs or the search fields & these things would help our experts, too…I see them writing the same information week after week…or, more often now, googling a completely different disease & giving links out. Seems a fair few recently which aren’t GCA or PMR questions!! That’s all…S x
