I am happy with the outcome of my visit to my rheumy today. Unaccompanied due to Covid restrictions so my translator had to stay in the car.
New X-rays show deterioration in my right index finger and arthritis in my feet and my left ankle. She calls my 10mg dose small! I am happy with that.
She's trying to pin down whether the rheumatism in my hands is destructive, psoriatic or metabolic.
She's increased the dose and method of delivery for the Methotrexate (subcutaneous). I think (if I understood her correctly) it can be more effective by injection.
She acknowledges my need for no significant changes before we go away.
I have a Dexa scan on Monday and a more thorough scan of my hands at the beginning of March.
