Thank you all for your replies . I don't know where to start I'm finding it really difficult to live with the pain that I have everyday. I'm on a lot of medication so I really shouldn't feel the pain as much as I do. I try and keep.going but I'm struggling.

If you are taking steroids you should reduce the majority of the pain of PMR so you can live your life again. What other things are you taking medications for?

You don’t say what dose you are on at the moment- or what other health issues you may have which may be hampering things.

Are you still at work or trying to continue life as normal?

We need a bit more info which is why I asked in your first post post and jinasc has asked in her reply to this one to please complete your profile/bio.

are you taking steroids for PMR as you should not have the pain you mention. Please tell us more about yourself

You will only get pain relief if you are taking the correct medication and at the correct dose. Just as a bucket of water won't put out a house fire, too low a dose of any medication won't do its job. But before we can help any more than saying that - we need information.

hello , I am also in the same boat , pain and early morning stiffness incredible , also the weakness is awful . I have tried gentle stretches, 3 times a day . I think it is helping, I can’t manage without pain relief. I hope you can find some relief

It sounds as if you may not be on enough pred - and splitting the dose may be needed. But if painkillers help - it may not be PMR.
