My daughter was on an ambo last night - and spent more than half of it in the ambo outside her own ED queueing for her patients to be seen.

It doesn’t add up, does it? Steroids don’t feel like my friend anymore. I was very grateful for them in the early years though. 🍀🍀

Good to hear they checked you out thoroughly…looking at this from the other side, Ronzy, if all those things are OK, what can they do to help you…& they can’t admit you to hospital with nothing to be found!! BUT this has been going on too long…my suggestion? Keep a diary, as you seem to have stable periods of time, but not for long. Note how many steroids you take in your diary each day. Make a separate list of all your symptoms. Make a doctors appointment for 2-3 weeks time. Go in & present your diary & your list. You can’t live like this! You seem to take very high doses of steroids sometimes…I wonder if they are affecting you adversely????? Take care!

More likely to be can't admit to hospital because no beds - my daughter says it is utterly awful. She spent 7 hours of her 12 hour shift on an ambo the other night sitting outside the ED where she usually works. No beds, no throughput in the ED ...

But if they tested everything out & observed Ronzy for hours, & found he was fine, then they won’t admit! Sounds bad in Scotland, though. I don’t think it’s quite that bad where we live.
