Has anyone had any success reducing Prednisone with hydroxychloroquine?

I have been on it for about 3 weeks & I am feeling much less pain.

There is one other person on the forum who has found it works for them but I can't remember their name I'm afraid. They may see your post. It isn't used very often as there is little evidence it helps in PMR.

I hope you have been told to get your eyes checked now and then have regular checks?

Yes, I did have an eye exam shortly after I started on Hydroxychloroquine, & have another appt. in 4 months. Thank you for your reply.

I was unable to get a prescription. Did your GP prescribe it? I would like to try it.

I would think that in the UK the rheumatologist must order it.

Yes, my Rheumatologist wants me to reduce Prednisone, so she prescribed it, I am in the states.
